Hardware price cuts

Price reductions on popular multimedia cards and Canon's BJC-620 colour printer.

Computer Concepts has recently reduced the prices of some of its most popular multimedia cards - The TV Tuner, Lark and Movie Magic cards.

Movie Magic enables you to display MPEG video, including VideoCDs. If you'd rather watch TV then the TV Tuner card displays TV on a suitable second monitor, or live in the Desktop if you have a digitiser installed. There is also a teletext version, which allows you to display and manipulate Teletext (no digitiser required). And for those of you who want to improve the sound as well as the vision, the Lark card offers 16-bit audio sampling and playback.

New prices for the hardware are as follows:

Canon have also announced a big price reduction for their dedicated colour inkjet, the BJC-620. This A4 printer offers 720dpi printing in both colour and mono and uses four separate colour ink cartridges to produce outstanding quality colour prints. Computer Concepts has cut its price, including TurboDriver, to just £259 + £10 P&P + VAT (£316.07 inc).
