StrongARM upgrades

Computer Concepts today announced availability and pricing for upgrades to make most of our product range compatible with the StrongARM. Some existing products will work on StrongARM machines without modification, but most will require an upgrade.

Although the bulk of our product range has been tested, where upgrades have been written there is still some work to be done on creating new installers. No upgrades are available at the time of writing; we hope to have most of these upgrades ready to ship by the end of next week: October 4 1996.

Where products have been tested and found to work, it is the latest pre-StrongARM version of the software that has been tested. Earlier versions may work, but have not been tested.

We are looking at the feasibility of putting the upgrades which we provide at cost (£10) on our Web site for free download. We will post more details as soon as possible.

This press release is correct as of September 25. There is a copy of this list in the products section which will be kept up-to-date as we get more information. Please add the copy to your hotlist in preference to this release, which will not be updated. Products that work already and do not require an upgrade

Products for which upgrades have been produced

As mentioned above, although upgrades for these products have been written, we are still writing installers. We hope to be able to ship working upgrades by October 4 at the latest.

Because many people will be wanting to upgrade a large number of products at once, we have set a maximum upgrade charge. The most we will charge for a set of upgrades to StrongARM compatible versions of software is £60 + VAT (£70.50).

The following upgrades are available for £23 + VAT (£27.02). All versions are de-dongled. If you have already bought a de-dongled version of these products, they are available at a discounted price of £19 + VAT (£22.32).
