Computer Concepts has released new versions of the popular TurboDrivers, which support Canon's latest bubblejet printers, the BJC-210 and the BJC-4100, and recent versions of !Printers.
The BJC-210 is a development of the mono BJ-200ex - it still offers excellent quality 720 (with smoothing) x 360 dpi monochrome printing, but there is now an optional colour cartridge, so that the printer can be used for the occasional colour requirement. The BJC-4100 follows the BJC-4000 and is suitable for both high quality colour and high speed mono printing. The colour is produced using a four colour ink tank and offers true 720dpi colour as well as 720 (with smoothing) x 360 dpi in mono.
The new version of TurboDrivers is 4.05. The TurboDrivers now require !Printers 1.45 or later and work with both !Printers 1.52 and 1.53. Upgrades from TurboDrivers version 4.04 are free; from earlier versions the cost is £10 + VAT (£11.75 incl).
Both the new printers are lower in price than their predecessors. The BJC-210 including TurboDriver software and printer cable is available direct from Computer Concepts at £159 + £10 p&p + VAT (£198.57 incl). The BJC-4100 including TurboDriver software and cable is £219 + £10 p&p + VAT (£269.07 incl). TurboDrivers are available separately from Computer Concepts or through Acorn resellers, RRP £49 + VAT (£57.57 incl).
